In 2004, Sundrops Studios , the brainchild of Laura Elizabeth, emerged as Calgary's pioneer tanning salon to offer expertly applied spray tans. Our disruptive presence in the industry compelled tanning bed companies to adapt their business models to keep pace with the evolving tanning marketplace. Laura's expertise in spray tanning quickly attracted attention from Hollywood. She was invited to Los Angeles to impart her techniques to top makeup artists from ABC, CBS, and Sony Studios, working on renowned TV shows like "Two Broke Girls," "Desperate Housewives," "The Young and the Restless," "Dancing with the Stars," and "The Bold and the Beautiful." Sundrops' exceptional work on these highly successful TV productions even caught the eye of the makeup department heads of "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy," who sought our proprietary blend, Capri Tan, exclusively for Vanna White.
